You can track the progress of your passport application online
- it will tell you the expected time of completion and its progress. Immigration commitment is 10 working days to process your application.
- Once completed, they will send you an email noticifcation that it was already redispatch to your local postoffice.
Note: Make sure you have all photocopies of the original documents with you specially the front and back of your citizenship certificate as Post Office will charge you for all photocopies required.

we have plans of going to the US but not really confirmed yet. not very keen about it coz i'd rather go to the phils. why?
on your other question: our post office here in blacktown did not charge me for the photocopying of documents. according to my workmates, there are post offices that really charge. they are not consistent.
