I still need to pick up the printer at Officeworks before I can try to claim my cash back reward from Canon website.

Printer can be declared for tax deduction.

I have not look at how much is the refillable ink.
Look for alternative inks or refillable inks online.


Update: 
The setup instruction is simple and straight forward as you need to look a the images. It doesn't explain much (which could be a problem if some of the procedure doesnt work). In my case It did not auto detect my WIFI network.

It doesn't also include the USB cable to connect your printer physically to your laptop/desktop as it is suppose to be a WIFI printer.


- It took me a while to figure out how to connect it to my wifi network as it did not detect my wifi automatically as it was looking for WPS (could be my wifi router is an old model)

If it did not detect your wifi network autmatically, try to configure your WAN manually to access your WiFi router.

Make sure the WIFI ICON on your Canon printer turns BLUE which means your printer is now connected to your WIFI network.

 You may now install Canon driver/software on your Laptop/Desktop (WiFi) capable and it should be able to detect your Canon Printer. IF you do not have cdrom, follow the link provided in the instruction to download over the internet.
